ALUMINUM
The LORYC BatteryRunner is made of Aluminum 5083. Even in the sun, this material will last hundreds of years without changing his technical characteristics. We avoid plastic, and don't use carbon fiber, because it is not recyclable.

SCREWS
We didn't count them yet, but more than 10.000 screws are holding the LORYC BatteryRunner together. A lot of hours to put them.
In the mass production of “normal” cars every second counts. Because cars need to produced cheap. Components are assembled with glue, or just sticked together with these plastic snap-in-parts. Hard to repair and to dissamble. We are using special stainless steel screws (X5CrNiMo 17-12-2). Every aluminum plate from the BatteryRunner is assembled with these screws. Easy to repair, even after 100 years!
SKELETAL STRUCTURES
We invented special inside skeletal structures to mount all the different aluminum plates together.
ROOF
The aluminum roof can be stored in the back of the LORYC BatteryRunner. It takes about 20 minutes to install.
No – it is not one of these fancy automatic foldable roofs with electric motors. Using a screw driver to install the roof is more fun than only pushing an electric button.
DRIVING UNIT
We desided to make the LORYC BatteryRunner rear wheel drive only. More than enough power for such a lightweight vehicle.

INTERSTELLAR MISSION READY
The LORYC BatteryRunner is ready to go for interstellar missions as well. Because the gravity level on Moon and Mars is different to gravity on Earth, the LORYC BatteryRunner has two special setup buttons. With these buttons it is easy to adjust the setup of the suspensions, the drive train and the electronic system for smooth and safe driving everywhere!
